Build a Kid’s Library is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization bringing the community together to build children's libraries in their homes. The purpose of this organization is to promote literacy and a love for reading by increasing the quantity and quality of books in homes in Detroit, MI., as well as to inspire those who have not yet discovered the power of a good book.

Our goal is to encourage kids to read more and enjoy reading one book at a time.
